August Recap: Health and Fitness Spotlight with BodyKey™ by Nutrilite™, XS™ Energy Drink

Together, XS™ Energy Drink and BodyKey™ by Nutrilite™ heighten Amway' Philippines' commitment to support people on their journey to better well-being. In fact, these brands took center stage last August in events that offered valuable experiences and insights about seeking a more balanced life.

August 23-25: Amway, HADSAP grace the PhilMed Expo 2023

The Philippine Medical Expo 2023 is the 7th edition of the annual event aimed at advancing healthcare excellence in the country. Amway Philippines, an active member of the Health and Dietary Supplements Association of the Philippines (HADSAP), joined the non-profit corporation in its attendance at the said showcase to advocate for healthy supplementation to the broader public.

HADSAP’s Lecture on Philippine Consumer Health Updates

HADSAP commenced the day one PhilMed Expo 2023 Workshop & Seminar with a lecture about Philippine Consumer Health Updates. For this talk, HADSAP President and Amway Philippines Country Manager Ms. Leni Olmedo discussed the growing issue of healthy diet unaffordability and the need for a new approach to stop it from fueling micronutrient deficiency and global malnutrition.

Holistic Health Booth with XS™ Energy Drink and BodyKey™ by Nutrilite™

The PhilMed Expo 2023 not only catered to its visitors from the healthcare community but also featured hundreds of exhibitors from different participating brands and organizations.

For its part, XS™ Energy Drink had a sampling booth that offered attendees, primarily health and medical and health professionals, the chance to try the product. The expo also served as a platform for acquainting them with XS™ Energy Drink, highlighting its potential to enhance a busy lifestyle.

Meanwhile, BodyKey™ by Nutrilite™ featured a weigh-in session using a body composition analyzer to assess an individual’s current health status. Participants also sought help from Nutritionist and Dietitian Ms. Emerlyn Francisco for on-the-spot fitness consultations and dietary advice.

August 27: Las Piñas Medical Society Fun Run

The month of August also marked the collaboration between Amway Philippines and Las Piñas Medical Society (LPMS) for a first-ever fun run. Held at the Alabang Town Center in partnership with God’s Wind Events, the LPMS Fun Run was established to promote healthy living and help those in need. Large portions of its proceeds will benefit programs for persons with disabilities.

The Dream Behind LPMS Fun Run

Former LPMS President, pediatrician, and current Amway Business Owner Dr. Jocelyn “Joy” Cuyugan first came up with the LPMS Fun Run, fueled by her advocacy for healthy living and preventive approach to medicine. Although the project was delayed as her tenure ended, she pushed it through as planned with the help of Amway Philippines and other sponsors.

XS™ Energy Drink Powers the Runner

Runners from three race categories (3km, 5km, and 10km) got the extra lift they need for the activity in the healthier way. All it took was to register on the Amway online store and in exchange, each was rewarded a refreshing boost from XS™ Energy Drink in Citrus and Cranberry-Grape flavors.

BodyKey™ Shake Fills the Runner’s Nutrient Needs

Lastly, fitness enthusiasts in the LMPS Fun Run were in for another treat with free samples from BodyKey™ by Nutrilite™. It was no surprise to witness familiar faces returning to savor once more the meal replacement shake that replenished them during and after the race.
